Sustainability Policy
Sustainability is at the heart of our business. We are dedicated to driving responsible practices that effectively balance environmental, social, and economic factors, ensuring that our operations contribute positively to the communities we serve.
With decades of experience, WEIDA delivers innovative solutions across various sectors, including road construction, drainage, water supply, and sewerage. Our products play a crucial role in infrastructure development, providing clean water and sanitation through our water and wastewater systems.
Environmentally Responsible Practices
Our commitment to sustainability extends to our manufacturing processes. WEIDA’s infrastructure polyethylene (PE) products have a lower carbon footprint compared to traditional materials such as iron and concrete. We run in-house sustainability programmes at our manufacturing plants, focusing on conserving energy and resources, reducing fossil fuel usage, and promoting green products.
Social Governance and Workplace Safety
WEIDA values social governance, prioritising a fair and safe workplace for our employees. Our ESG policies help us maintain a positive work environment while promoting sustainability objectives.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we strive to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). Our businesses and operational activities directly support the following SDGs:
